Timing in London terms

For same-day delivery, complete your order before 12:00 Turkish time – that is 9am in London in winter and 10am in summer, so if you live in London an order on the morning commute is early enough. Later orders are delivered the next day, and there are no Sunday deliveries. In 2027 both Valentine's Day (14 February) and Mothering Sunday (7 March) fall on a Sunday, so book the Saturday before.

Postcodes and flat numbers

A London postcode narrows things down to a few streets – N4 for Harringay, E8 for Hackney, SW3 for Chelsea. What the courier really needs:

• the flat number and building name, e.g. "Flat 12, Abbey House"
• street, house number and the full postcode
• the recipient's mobile, so the courier can call if nobody answers the entry phone

Many newer developments have a concierge or porter who can accept flowers when the recipient is out. Mention this in the delivery notes rather than on the card.

The whole of Greater London: Haringey (Green Lanes, Wood Green), Enfield (Palmers Green, Edmonton), Hackney (Dalston, Stoke Newington), Islington, Camden, Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea, Tower Hamlets including Canary Wharf, Southwark, Lambeth, as well as outer boroughs such as Croydon and Ealing.

Offices, hotels and hospitals

• City and Canary Wharf offices: flowers are left at reception or the post room – include company name and floor.
• Hotels: hotel name and the guest's full name.
• Hospitals: many NHS wards don't accept flowers; see our hospital flower delivery tips.

Paying

Your card is charged in Turkish lira and the amount is shown at checkout; you can display prices in pounds from the top menu. With a UK card, any conversion fee depends on your bank. Delivery is free.
