Living in Germany? How to Surprise Your Family in Turkey with Flowers

You can't always be in Turkey for the big family moments when you live in Germany, but a bouquet can be there for you. Placing the order takes a few minutes, and the flowers often arrive on the very same day.

Four steps to order

  1. Choose Turkey as the delivery country. You'll see prices in euros; another currency can be picked in the top menu.
  2. Pick the flowers, then add the recipient's name, mobile number and full address, selecting the province and district from the list.
  3. Write your card message and pick a delivery date.
  4. Pay with the Visa or Mastercard from your German bank, confirmed with 3D Secure. The charge is in lira, and your bank works out the euro amount.

Mind the clock

Same-day delivery applies to orders placed before 12:00 noon Turkey time. Turkey runs 1 hour ahead of Germany in summer and 2 hours ahead in winter — so at 10:00 in Berlin, it's already 11:00 or 12:00 in Istanbul. In the winter months, that means ordering before 10:00 German time if you want flowers there today. Remember, too, that nothing is delivered on Sundays.

Plan ahead for the big days

  • Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha: to have flowers at the door on the morning of the holiday, order a few days in advance.
  • Mother's Day: the second Sunday in May in both countries. Since there are no Sunday deliveries, book it for the Saturday before.

Something for Mum, something for Grandma

Roses or flowers in a box are a lovely choice for your mother, and long-lived potted plants suit grandparents. Browse the full range on our send flowers to Turkey page, or read our broader guide to ordering flowers to Turkey from abroad.

Frequently asked questions

Will an order placed in Germany reach Turkey the same day?

It will if you get it in before noon Turkey time — in winter, that's 10:00 by the German clock.

Is a card from a German bank accepted?

It is. Visa and Mastercard both work with 3D Secure; you're charged in lira and your bank handles the euro conversion.

What happens on Mother's Day, given it's a Sunday?

We don't deliver on Sundays, so book the flowers for the Saturday instead.
